If you can correctly pronounce every word in this poem, you will be speaking English better than 90% of the native English speakers in the world. After trying the verses, a Frenchman said he’d prefer six months of hard labour to reading six lines aloud. Try them yourself.

I’m reblogging running posts.

Because it’s summer. And I want to start training for cross country. I am not really sure what’s with this random spree of motivation, but if it makes me train harder this summer and make varsity next year, bring it on I say.

I missed midnight run last night! I was so sad when I woke up this morning! It would’ve been so much fun!
Gah. Anyway. I’m babysitting this afternoon. Making money the first day of summer vacation? I approve.

  • what i say: i hate running
  • what i mean: i dont love running. i adore it. i could never go a day without it or thinking about it. there is nothing more exciting that pr-ing, getting new running shoes or your coach telling you you had a good race. i love the adrenaline of the starting and finishing stretch and the agony and and inner competition myself in the middle of the race. there is nothing more beautiful to me than a sports bra tanline and having a headband that is strictly 'your running headband'. i take pride in my tattered feet. i take pride in the amount of water i drink. and i take pride in the fact that i am making myself proud everyday that i wake up early, lace up my shoes, and get lost in the run.

The proofs are up from the race I ran yesterday

Why oh why do people think it’s a good idea to take pictures when you’re running?!
Although, there’s this picture where both of my feet are off the ground and it looks like I’m like floating. It’s kind of awesome. And it’s funny because Maddie and I were just saying the other day that we hate when there’s race pictures and it happens to be when both feet are on the ground. I mean, are your feet ever supposed to both be on  the ground?
I would think not, but what do I know? Because I apparently float while I’m running?
